Frequently asked questions
How do I set up the Laurel Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress for best support?
The mattress uses three adjustable latex layers: a 4" base, a 3" middle, and a 2" soft top. Start by choosing your base firmness (firm or medium) and set the middle layer to your preferred feel (firm, medium, or soft), then place the soft top for surface comfort. It’s designed to work on standard bed bases and adjustable foundations alike.
What makes the top feel comfortable and breathable for nightly use?
The cover is an organic jersey cotton quilted with organic wool, which helps with temperature regulation. The individually wrapped latex layers reduce friction and movement, contributing to a smoother, more comfortable surface.
What materials are used and how do they affect daily use?
The core uses 100% GOLS-certified Dunlop organic latex, with an organic cotton jersey cover and organic wool quilting. This combination supports varied sleeping styles while staying responsive and breathable for daily comfort.
What room or sleep situations is this mattress best suited for?
It suits adults of all body types and works well on beds with standard foundations or adjustable bases, making it versatile for different bedrooms and sleep setups.
How does the layered design tailor firmness for different sleepers?
The 4" base and 3" middle layers offer adjustable firmness options (firm, medium, or soft) so you can customize comfort to your preferred sleeping style and body type.
The Laurel 9" mattress blends customizable comfort with organic materials to support every body type and sleeping style. A solid 4" base layer can be set firm or medium, while a 3" middle layer offers firm, medium, or soft options, all capped with a 2" soft latex top to ease surface pressure points. Encased in an organic jersey cotton cover and quilted with soft, pure organic wool, this design promotes temperature regulation and long-lasting durability for restful nights on any bed base, including adjustable foundations.
Designed for versatility, this organic latex system is built with individually wrapped latex layers to minimize friction and movement while maintaining strong, breathable protection inside the cover. All materials are certified organic and pass flame safety tests, ensuring a clean, safe sleeping environment.
