Frequently asked questions
What is Healthy Choice Sage Organic Dunlop Latex Mattress made of, and what does that mean for daily use?
It uses 100% GOLS-certified Dunlop organic latex in layered construction with an organic cotton cover and organic wool filling. This combination supports a breathable, temperature-regulated sleep surface and gentle surface comfort, with layers wrapped to minimize motion transfer between them.
Who would get the most comfort from this latex mattress, and who might not?
It’s ideal for those who want a customizable, multi-layer latex bed with dual firmness options and organic materials. If you prefer a very soft or very firm single-layer feel, or need a non-latex alternative, this may be less suited.
How do the adjustable firmness options work for different sleepers?
The base 3" layer comes in firm or medium, the middle core is available in firm, medium, or soft, and a 2" soft top layer adds surface comfort. In Queen and King sizes, dual firmness options allow different preferences for each side.
What sizes and firmness options are available for this mattress?
The mattress is offered in standard sizes with multiple firmness combinations across layers, including dual-firmness configurations on larger sizes to tailor comfort for different body types and sleeping positions.
How should I set up and get the most from this mattress on day one?
Place it on a compatible foundation or adjustable base if desired; ensure the cover and wool layer are properly in place for optimal temperature regulation and comfort. Individual latex layers are wrapped to reduce motion, aiding stability across sleep surfaces.
What care or maintenance does this mattress require to stay in good condition?
Keep the organic cotton cover clean and breathable; the wool filling helps regulate temperature, but avoid exposure to moisture. Periodic rotation of the layers (if recommended by the retailer) can help maintain even support.
